Friends, badminton, mj and work

Yesterday was a very good example of blotched planning.
We (Desmond, Yang Mui, Aziz, Baolin, Siya, Parveen, Chi Foong and I), were suppose to go to Tampines to play badminton at 11am, followed by lunch and mah jong at Desmond’s place.
Here’s how it really went:
Parveen and Desmond were not able to make it due to an urgent matters, Shirleena made a last minute appearance for badminton and everyone but Aziz and Chi Foong was late. Due to our not being able to be at the courts at 10.45am, we lost the courts and were left to wait till 12pm before we could get our rackets out and start smashing cocks.
We played till the side of 2.15pm before heeding our tummies and going for lunch. Since ‘No Desmond – no house – no mah jong’ we had to come up with a back-up plan. That plan was to go to Siya’s home to play mah jong. That decided, Yang Mui, Chi Foong and I followed Siya to her place to ‘dry swim’.
I got a sms from my boss while we were having lunch. She asked me to go to work that evening. Seeing that that sms was rather last minute and intruding on my ready made plans, I initially appologished that I could not make it to work… shortly after I sent that sms, I changed my mind and told my boss that I would be late instead of not turning up. Why?
The dry swimming ended at 6pm odd because Yang Mui had to rush off to meet her family for dinner and Chi Foong had to go home for dinner. That meant that we would only have 2 players and be short of 2 more. The problem of ‘er que er’ -.-lll With that situation seen on the horizon, I messaged my boss and let her know that I would be late…
The headless chicken made a come back as I rushed home and out again to work. I did not have time for dinner so I resorted to buying food home from work and eating at 10.30pm.
That was my Friday. Heh….

I bought 3 VCDs today after work.

Can not buy anymore liao… my wallet is crying for me to stop my spending ways… have to save so I can go out more…haha… or wait till more nice VCDs to come out… Howl’s Moving Castle!!!! I am waiting for that to come out!!!!

The kids today were not that bad…just one of them got on my nerves…I was very close to picking him up and shaking him like a rag doll… He is a mean spirited child and needs a good spanking. I just wonder if his parents have the balls to give it to him. If they don’t, I think I just might take out the cane and do it for them.
